Hi! I’m María, a Data Scientist from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I manage a team of 15+ data scientists and analysts at my city’s Ministry of Health, and I’m also part of MetaDocencia, where I work on Infrastructure and develop and teach lessons for researchers in Latin America on the topic of Open Science.
Since 2019, I have been teaching and developing curricula for courses in statistics, programming, data science, and data visualization at the University of Buenos Aires, National Agricultural Technology Institute, National Scientific and Technical Research Council and the University Institute of the Italian Hospital of Buenos Aires.
As an organizer of R-Ladies Buenos Aires since 2019, I work to foster diversity and inclusion in the tech and data science communities.
